Bellingen based Teresa Cowley was born to Portuguese parents in Mozambique, Africa and raised in Sydney. Teresa has studied Fashion Design at East Sydney Technical College and has also completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing. Her travels have taken her across Europe and Asia including the backpacker trail of India's west coast.

Now playing the role of Creative Director of Teresa Cowley Handbags, the label was established when Teresa found a hole in the market for beautifully crafted fabric handbags that she could adore.
